Bit of colour for colder days of winter

Faced with long brown, grey and dull days of winter I wanted a bit of colour amidst my cosy adornment, so I made this vibrant multi coloured snood for myself and these mixed coloured wrist warmers with cute little mixed buttons on the side.

The snood is a free crochet pattern from http://attic24.typepad.com and I used Stylecraft Dk yarns in colours that I like to clash, I particularly love the kingfisher blue for the edges.

I made it wide enough to go over head but to slouch softly around the neck, I made it deep enough to roll over or stand up. I absolutely love it!

These wrist warmers are lovely, they're crocheted and the pattern is a free one online.  I used Debbie Bliss Casmerino dk yarn and a mixture of little random buttons, you dont need the buttons though, they're just for show.

I love the duck egg bluey/green on the picot edging.

I adore the mixture of fun colours in both items, clashy and joyful and they make me feel snooshy and happy when I wear them!  :-)
