Baby converse

My school head and deputy head are both having a baby around the same time, I just had to knit something up so opted for these cute little mini Converse inspired booties.


The teal is for a boy and the cerise pink for a girl.



An absolute faff to make, much sewing and crochet as well as knitting but am quite happy with them.  :-)

 Yarns used are Sublime Baby DK, less than half a ball of each colour.  Pattern is no longer available but you can find many similar ones on Ravelry (free online resource for knitting and crochet) for those interested.

 I suspect they're for age 3-6 months old.
