A new skill! who knew? ;-)

I recently joined the Ladies Circle in my area and one of our nights out was to Pots of Art in Hitchin, Herts; during which we all chose a piece of pottery to glaze and decorate as we liked.  

In my defence! = It was REALLY HARD TO DO! lol, and the paint was very blobby! 

I fancied the idea of doing a couple of coasters, but after sitting there for about half an hour watching others get stuck straight in, I still had no idea what I was going to do, I felt nervous about the first brush stroke and knowing I wouldn't be able to change my mind once I got started, I'd just have to go with whatever popped into my head.... EEeeeek!  :-/  

My main living room is raspberry and gold and so inspired by that I went with strawberries.  

I know I'm not artistic by any stretch of the imagination but I love trying new things and I would indeed have another go at this craft, but will try next time to do it without having my tongue stuck out the whole time I'm painting!  ;-)
