Woohooo. Discovered a fabulous huge patch near us where there is an enormous abundance of blackberry bushes! After a mere 10minutes careful grabbing my son and I managed to fill a tray. Not sure how I'm going to process this batch just yet, perhaps a combination of a mixed rich fruit compote (plums, blackberries, raspberries, apples) for breakfasts with granola and natural yoghurt and perhaps also a rather large batch of blackberry muffins! ;-)
Oh yum, I love blackberry picking but havent been this year. Best free fruit you can get.I like blackberry crumble x
ReplyDeleteoooh yes. drool! i'm an apple and blackberry crumble gal. Going to make the aforementioned muffins in an hour after school run. perfect day for it, wet, autumnal, windy etc. ;-) Cant wait to dive my face into one when warm from oven. woohooo. lol. x
