I've always wanted hens, but like to flit off for weekends if i wish and not worry about them, SO?......

Here is Busta,  He's a couple of months old and full of attitude!  His home is a window in the guest suite, the room is decorated very grown up style and so his soul purpose is to give an air of flare to the room, bring  a smile to guests and to guard and monitor comments left in the guests comments book kept on the sill. You'll note he has particularly shifty eyes that are a little close together to promote absolute trust, I think he needs a companion, someone to keep him in check.

 So few days later........

I made Fleur!  She is a little more plump than the crazy Busta but more doughy eyed and rather shabby-chic in appearance, her life's mission is to keep a watchful big goo-goo eye over him and to merely sit pretty on top of the Roberts dab radio in my kitchen.  She favours pinky notes but threw caution to the wind by daring to bare lime green legs that I'm in the process of making, these will dangle down the side of the big fridge.  LOL.  ;-)
Pattern source is on Ravelry.com, the chickens are knitted very large and then felted (a process where you put the finished item into wash machine on high temperature and boil basically, it shrinks the knitting and causes it to sort of mangle like a tight fabric) the pattern name is called Høne til vinpose
{This pattern was designed to house the bag from a box of wine but mine are merely stuffed with sealed bags of chickpeas and lentils then button'd up the back}
