The summer had passed and we had not yet had a holiday, so October half-term we whizzed down to north Devon; I'd been so many times as a child so enjoyed reminiscing with my own child.
The entire week was stunning gold and very warm indeed. Couldn't have been more lucky, I'd highly recommend the Autumn as a time for a mind soothing break away.
These pictures are taken at Clovelly. The place never seems to change, I've got and seen old photos of it from a hundred years back, all that alters are the style of boats and that's only marginal.
The top photo is of the natural waterfall in the cliffs at clovelly bay and the bottom picture is looking back towards Clovelly village which is up an incredibly steep and cobbled hill. A great half day out.
