Several days out nourishing the soul with flora and fauna, its what spring and summer is for no?

Bluebells in the woods near Gosmore/Hitchin first.
Then a forbidden garden, what is it about a sealed metal gate? doesnt everyone just want to climb over? ;-)
I adore this graveyard filled with wild flowers and how the wonderful angel sculpture is almost floating on the top of the flowers. Such a beautiful place of rest.
Then a wonderful day during early summer up at Dunton heath in Suffolk, I'm from Norfolk and Anglia area has heaths in abundance, I have fond memories of playing badminton on them with my wonderful grandmother Mabel Melton. Golden summer evenings of my school holidays spent with them in amongst their several acres of traditional English country gardens, no lawns, just flora and fauna and hens and rabbits and fruit and veg.
William, my son, enjoyed trampling on the prickly heather clad surface whilst looking out to sea.
Finally, Hitchin lavender fields.
